In March, 2016 the chapter helped coordinate a St. Baldrick's Fundraiser. Students bought tickets for a chance to take basketball shots in the gymnasium. Students had two chances to make a foul shot. If they were successful, they moved to a three-point shot, and then to a half-court shot. Anyone who shot received candy. Anyone who made their shot got an opportunity to receive a bigger prize AS WELL AS shave Mrs. Yanni's head!

December, 2015 - W.A.R.M. Coat Drive and Food Drive. The chapter collected many coats, hats, gloves and mittens in the CFI. We also had a contest between seminars. Based on need, food items were worth different "points". For example, a can of tuna fish was worth three points while a box of cereal was worth one point. The seminar that collected food items worth the most points won a chance to duct tape Mr. Gartrell to the gymnasium wall.

2015 February - Members created a PSA about Spread The Word To End The Word. The PSA was shown to students on the school's weekly news broadcast. Members also read key messages on the morning announcements the week before March 4th, 2015 and placed this banner up at school in the window across from the library encouraging students to take the pledge to end the word. Check out the Anti-bullying page for more information.

That's about 500 lbs. more than the school collected last year and is equivalent to approximately 1,200 meals! Mr. Carney's homeroom won a doughnut party for collecting the most food.
2015 November - we collected 839 lbs. of food for WARM. Mr. Gartrell's seminar won a doughnut party and the 6th-graders got to duct tape Mr. Gartrell to the wall!

2014 October - Collected gently-used books in exchange for raffle tickets. Raffle tickets were used for a chance to win one of six baskets - five book-themed and one full of candy. An amazing total of 457 books were collected, AR-leveled by members, and donated to Kiwanis Club of Westerville which were then donated to elementary school students during Kiwanis' Book Bonanzas.
